Wolverine Different Endings

You probably know that Fox has been distributing different copies of Wolverine to theaters: so if the main ending is the same for all, there are actually more than one after-credits scene.

Well, fellow fans are already sharing online clips of those Wolverine after credits scenes that they snatched with their phone cams:

1. Wolverine in a Japanese bar.

This scene is setting things for the Wolverine movie sequel: Wolverine 2 is indeed likely to explore the Japanese ark. More at: --> Wolverine 2

2. Deadpool
Deadpool will get his own spin-off movie: --> Deadpool Movie

Wolverine Movie Trailer

HUGH JACKMAN IS WOLVERINE!Director Gavin Hood has been helming a Wolverine movie that delves into the origins of the hero, from his childhood to the day Logan got his skeleton infused with the indestructible adamantium alloy. Opening in theaters on May 1st, the film is starring Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.

Here below the last full-length trailer of Wolverine the movie:

Some may feel that the Wolverine shown in the previous X-Men movies wasn't close enough to the cantankerous character from the comic book. Well, Hugh Jackman was sharing this point of view, and being both lead actor and producer of the upcoming Wolverine movie, he tried to put Logan aka Wolverine on a better track:

"I'm not mad about it, but I thought he had gotten a bit soft. I thought we had gotten away from the essence of who Wolverine really is: a bad (dude) who wants to live his own life.
[...]
The character has always reminded me of Dirty Harry or Han Solo. He's a good guy, not a nice guy. He's got a lot of flaws, which I think is what people find so attractive about him and the X-Men. He's struggling with who he is and what he wants. He was one of the comics' first anti-heroes."

Judging from the last movie trailer of Wolverine I think this is the real Wolverine we were all craving for!

Wolverine Movie Hugh Jackman Interview

Hugh Jackman wants Wolverine 2, the Wolverine sequel, to be in Japan!Hugh Jackman was asked about the upcoming Wolverine movie. And he gladly talked about his role as Logan aka Wolverine (even if the interview, here, was actually for an other film, Australia...):

Talking about the movie Wolverine:

"I can guarantee you there are going to be surprises. David Benioff, who wrote the script, is one of the great writers in Hollywood, and he is the biggest comic book fan in the history of the world. There is not an issue of Wolverine or X-Men that he doesn't own. When he first pitched me the idea, he had such a brilliant idea that was his little twist on events. He's written it smartly. He knows what the fans want."
Hugh Jackman

And hinting at what direction a Wolverine sequel would take:

"The most intriguing thing to me was the Japan story. I love the Japan story. I wanted to do the Japan story from around X-Men 2. Can you just picture Wolverine in Japan with the triads and the samurai? It's just genius. Comedically and dramatically, I thought, 'This is awesome!' But how can you do that before you explain his origins? If we tried to mix the origin and Japan together, it wouldn't do justice to either. So you can tell by the answer where I'd like it to go."
Hugh Jackman

Seems Hugh Jackman really appreciates interpreting the role of Wolverine. I'm quite sure there will a be Wolverine movie sequel. If the movie Wolverine 2 takes place in Japan that would be awesome: can you imagine samurai swords vs. adamantium claws?

Wolverine - Spin-off movie of the X-Men in 2009

Following the success of the X-Men series at the cinema the mutant known as Wolverine now gets his own spin-off movie. Wolverine is a mutant with regenerative powers, three claws on each hand and a skeleton all laced with a rare metal known as adamantium.

Hugh Jackman -had I a daughter, I would have told her to marry this guy!- will plays as Logan / Wolverine.

Here is the plot in a few lines:

In this spin-off movie Logan struggles to find the secrets to his past.
Thanks to Charles's Xavier psychic powers Logan overcomes his mental barriers reaching his past life.
But the full truth of his origin is a far from being a gift: pain and loneliness once forgotten are awaken.
Logan remembers the role of Victor Creed (who will later become Sabertooth) in the death of his girlfriend, and how he ended up to the mutant Weapon X program which tried to transform him into a killing machine.

I can be but glad to know that this spin-off movie is coming soon (May 2009 is not so far).
I appreciate Hugh Jackman: to my viewpoint he is the ideal actor to epitomize the vivid character of Wolverine. Stay tuned for the trailer !
