Wolverine FOX

Three special trailers of Wolverine air on Fox.

The first preview clip shows the childhood of Logan (before he becomes Wolverine):

Outcasts

While the comic book may have played with the idea that Sabretooth could have been Logan's father (Sabretooth appears on Logan's birthdays with a surprising regularity...), the movie isn't doing so.

The second Wolverine clip indicates indeed that the teen who took the young Logan under his umbrella is actually the young Sabretooth, it seems they are actually brothers. The two have been through a lot together, but then they became at odds:

Brothers

The third TV spot of Wolverine has aired on FOX Channel:

Legends

Every hero has an origin!

Wolverine is going to chop the chopper! That sounds like jumping the shark or nuking the fridge, but I' don't care: just awesome!

Looks like this is following the Origin storyline closely...maybe going beyond with the Dog/James being brothers thing. In the clip, the older boy looks to have claws like Schreiber-tooth.

Looks really good, but word on the street is that fox screwed this movie up. They took away the creative direction that the director had and changed the look and feel of the film. It was intended to be dark and violent but will now be kiddie friendly. The movie as it stands, is less than 1.5 hrs long. This movie should be 2-2.5 hrs. The simple fact that Hugh Jackman had to put up a statement in regards to the production of the film clearly spells disaster for what should've been a great movie.

When is it going to be aired? I remember they mentioned Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but I couldn't remember what date it would be.

Thanks,

Neil

Actually, the comic-book line wasn't suggesting Sabertooth might have been his father. He was his childhood best friend but he was f'ed up in the head because his father always beat him. It's under sabertooth's profile and Wolverines on Marvel.com
